Regatta Master is an integrated software solution that provides rowing clubs
and programs with the ability to manage their membership and programs,
communicate with members and other rowing clubs, inventory resources, manage
regatta entries, and host their own regattas.
Regatta Master 2007 is a compiled Microsoft Access 2007 application, and is distributed
and installed with the runtime Access database engine, so end users do not need
to have Access installed on their computers. The database format used by the
program is Access 2000, so that end users can use a variety of standard reporting
tools to augment the reports in the program.
Operating systems supported by Regatta Master 2007: Windows XP SP2 and higher,
Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 2003 Server, and Windows 2008 Server. Mac
users can run Regatta Master on OS X using Windows XP SP2 with Parallels VM
software. Regatta Master is multi-user, and can be used in a wired LAN or
Terminal Server configuration.
Regatta Master makes extensive use of email, and works with MAPI-compliant email
programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, and Eudora to send email from many screens
in the program.

Regatta Master takes a regatta of any size from the planning stages to the
published results. It manages and tracks planning meetings and agenda
items, schedules volunteers, imports registration from many sources (or it can
be input manually), performs scheduling and progression, manages weigh-ins,
calculates handicaps, accepts timing data from FinishLynx, manual input, or
built-in timer, and publishes schedules, draws, and results to PDF, printed
reports, or the Web.
Regatta Master supports both head-style and sprint regattas, and allows sprint events in a head regatta, as well as time trial racing within a sprint regatta.

Regatta Master was originally designed to handle the typical activities of managing a rowing
club - membership and regatta entries.
The club management 'side' of the program
handles membership and billing, has a flexible 'session' system for managing club activities, and
uses a subset of the regatta management system to handle a club's regatta entries. The latter is also
very handy for scheduling practices, and can also be used for erg testing.
